CNC / CAM Project Engineer (CNC/CAM)

What you will do

• Design, program, and manufacture prototype golf club heads, components, and precision fixtures.
• Use Siemens NX CAD/CAM and advanced 5-axis CNC machining for prototype development.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability and develop machining strategies and cutting parameters for various metal alloys.
• Apply expertise in welding, adhesives, castings, coatings, composites, and joint design to solve engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with R&D engineers and provide design recommendations for scaling prototypes to manufacturing.
• Maintain CNC shop operations, create fixturing solutions, and contribute to patentable innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of CAD/CAM programming experience, preferably with Siemens NX (Unigraphics), SDRC, or Delcam.
• At least 3 years of CNC machining experience with CNC mills, lathes, and manual mills and lathes.
• Ability to provide a cover letter and portfolio samples showing completed CNC/CAM and prototype machining work, including photos, project details, contributions, and manufacturing methods.
