Drywall Project Manager

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion and close-out.
• Estimate project costs, establish budgets and contract prices, and support bid preparation.
• Negotiate subcontractor and material purchases, issue bid packages, and coordinate buyout and deliveries.
• Maintain project schedules, cost controls, reporting, documentation, quality, and contract compliance.
• Lead, train, and supervise project teams while coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Develop safety procedures, mitigate claims and conflicts, conduct warranty follow-up, and support business development.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
