IT Business Systems Analyst 2

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; hybrid workplace with work from home available up to 2 days per week upon eligibility.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new systems and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, system designs, workflow diagrams, and actionable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, project managers, QA, data teams, and business stakeholders during implementation.
• Plan and lead functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, including acceptance criteria and test plans.
• Coordinate product releases, monitor post-launch performance, and provide end-user training and support.
• Develop reports and dashboards, improve processes, and support application risk, compliance, audit, and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart and project management tools such as ADO, Jira, or Asana.
• Knowledge of business processes, ERP/CRM systems, automation, monitoring, logging, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes, modern cloud-native applications, and tools such as Git or Jenkins.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-code platforms, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner, Professional Scrum Product Owner, or SAFe certification.
