Business Analyst, Mid (SysML)

Location: Remote within the United States; primary location Arlington, Virginia, with an additional location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.

Salary: $55,200–$126,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Work with an Agile team to develop digital products in the cloud-based LCMP-IDE environment.
• Identify client business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories.
• Assess existing system functionality, user experience, and data relationships.
• Collaborate with requirements analysts, designers, developers, testers, and experienced business analysts.
• Guide the delivery of deployable features that provide high business value to the Air Force.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or process improvement practitioner.
• Experience with SysML or a similar modeling language.
• Experience with Microsoft products, including Visio and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization, process maps, and frameworks.
• Ability to research options, assess systems independently, and present concepts to varied audiences.
• Top Secret clearance and a bachelor's degree are required.

Nice to have

• Root cause analysis or rapid process improvement experience.
• Azure DevOps ticket creation and query development.
• Knowledge of nuclear compatibility, surety, operational processes, DoD acquisition processes, or Air Force instructions and manuals.
• Experience presenting to senior-ranking officials.
• Master's degree.
