Assistant Dean - BSN Program (Nursing Education)

What you will do

• Lead the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the BSN nursing program.
• Manage clinical-site partnerships, contracts, evaluations, approvals, student placements, faculty assignments, rotations, and clinical objectives.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, program policies, handbooks, budgets, staffing models, faculty schedules, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare Board and state compliance materials, including reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, site-visit documentation, and required clinical approval forms.
• Support admissions, student orientation, advising, progression, appeals, grievances, graduation, and licensing-exam readiness.
• Recruit, onboard, supervise, and evaluate nursing faculty while coordinating faculty meetings, committees, advisory activities, and community relationships.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state where the campus is located.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, including coursework in nursing, education, or administration.
• At least two years of administrative experience, two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs, and two years of direct patient-care experience as a registered nurse or equivalent Board-approved experience.
• Leadership experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation, program evaluation, and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, facilitation, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse people and institutions and use computer-based resources.
