Associate Dean, Academic Affairs - Nursing - Stockbridge Campus (Nursing Education)

Location: Stockbridge, Georgia, USA; full-time on-campus position

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year, adjusted based on experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, budget, and responsibilities.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day academic operations, faculty schedules, workloads, performance, and curriculum delivery for assigned courses and sections.
• Implement academic strategy with the Dean and support BSN program goals, expansion, and new academic initiatives.
• Recruit, select, onboard, retain, observe, evaluate, and develop qualified faculty.
• Use student success data to improve curriculum delivery, laboratories, simulation, workshops, retention, persistence, and NCLEX outcomes.
• Coordinate clinical placement, resource allocation, academic budgets, and capital requests with faculty and campus leadership.
• Ensure compliance with institutional standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation benchmarks while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral degree in nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license required.
• At least 2 years of nursing education experience at the bachelor’s level or above.
• At least 2 years of simulation and/or clinical experience development or participation.
• At least 2 years of previous leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, conflict resolution, budget planning, resource management, and change leadership skills.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of acute patient care experience in trauma, emergency, or medical-surgical settings.
• Doctoral degree in nursing.
