Salary: $187,747.98–$214,569.12 annually

What you will do
- Lead testing and commissioning activities for the East River Tunnels project.
- Develop and manage commissioning schedules, procedures, execution plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate owners, contractors, Amtrak, LIRR, engineering teams, suppliers, system managers, and operations personnel.
- Oversee factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing, and operational readiness demonstrations.
- Coordinate resolution of deficiencies, punch-list items, technical issues, and system interfaces.
- Support handover, training, documentation, decommissioning, and final operational acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, systems engineering, transportation engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in testing, commissioning, systems integration, startup, or operational readiness.
- Experience with rail, transit, tunnel, transportation, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary commissioning programs and managing contractors, suppliers, vendors, and stakeholder interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of systems integration, commissioning methodologies, operational acceptance, safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Amtrak, MTA, LIRR, NJ Transit, PATH, SEPTA, or similar transportation agencies.
- Experience with tunnel systems, communications, signaling, traction power, facilities, or integrated transportation systems.
- Professional Engineer license, PMP, CCM, or commissioning-related certification.
- Experience with design-build, program management, or large-scale capital infrastructure programs.
