Sr Program Manager - Special Projects

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of complex, high-impact programs spanning product development, operations, customer commitments, and cross-company initiatives.
• Manage program charters, scopes, business cases, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk plans.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and service.
• Act as the primary program interface for customers, partners, and senior stakeholders, communicating status, risks, delays, and trade-offs.
• Lead scope-change discussions, conflict resolution, contingency planning, and schedule recovery activities.
• Mentor junior program managers and improve project management tools, standardized processes, and resource management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least seven years of progressive project or program management experience, including three years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Prior project management coursework or training is required; PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience managing program budgets, recommending resource trade-offs, and using project and resource management software; Smartsheet is preferred.
• Customer-facing experience with direct interaction with customers in a highly visible role is required.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, multitasking, judgment, follow-through, and self-management skills are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• PMP certification.
• Mentoring or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
