Loan Specialist II - Mortgage Closer - RJ Bank (Mortgage)

What you will do

• Process complex commercial and retail loan applications and obtain required documentation.
• Verify applications and supporting documents, order credit verifications and third-party services, and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare, review, and compile mortgage closing packages, regulatory disclosures, compliance records, and accounting reports.
• Coordinate loan closings, clear loans for disbursement, and perform routine loan calculations.
• Conduct pre-closing, post-closing, and whole-loan due diligence reviews of legal agreements and closing documents.
• Assist customers with moderately complex inquiries and research and resolve documentation or processing issues.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of commercial and retail loan processing and documentation.
• Knowledge of banking, finance, financial markets and products, and loan origination software.
• Working knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines, TRID, and Closing Disclosure timing requirements.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, trust agreements, powers of attorney, and multi-state real estate, closing, and title practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state lending laws and the ability to interpret loan documentation, policies, and financial statements.
• Ability to manage multiple detailed assignments, communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and provide professional customer service.
