What you will do

• Connect with borrowers who have expressed interest, understand their goals, and guide them toward suitable VA loan options.
• Review credit and financial information to match borrowers with appropriate lending solutions.
• Explain the loan process, set expectations, answer questions, and help borrowers secure competitive rates and terms.
• Manage the borrower pipeline and provide timely follow-up through phone, email, and other communication tools.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to deliver a smooth borrower experience.
• Participate in AI-assisted recording and review of business calls for coaching, quality assurance, compliance, training, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a caring, supportive approach.
• Integrity and care when handling borrower information.
• Attention to detail and comfort with documentation and repeatable processes.
• Problem-solving ability, accountability, adaptability, and a positive approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS license; assistance with licensing is available after starting.
• Full-time availability in Columbia, Missouri, with daytime, evening, and weekend scheduling depending on the position type.

Culture & Benefits

• Base salary plus commission with performance-based earning potential and opportunities for growth.
• $500 sign-on bonus and an additional $1,000 after passing the SAFE exam.
• Daytime schedules generally follow normal business hours, with some evening and weekend work.
• Flex schedules may be worked between 12 PM and 10 PM on weekdays and 8 AM and 10 PM on weekends, including two nights per week until 10 PM and at least 32 weekend hours per month.
