Senior IT Project Manager - Senior Scrum Master (Banking)

What you will do

• Lead and coach Agile teams on Scrum practices, principles, and delivery.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments, protect sprint focus, and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management and requirements clarity.
• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
• Track Agile metrics, manage sprint workflows in Azure DevOps or similar tools, and perform financial management and sprint reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced IT Scrum Master experience with strong organizational, interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills.
• Intermediate experience delivering projects with Agile methodologies and using Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Workfront.
• Familiarity with IT systems, the software development life cycle, and DevOps practices.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification, plus SAFe Scrum Master or advanced Agile certification required.

Nice to have

• Leadership and mentoring experience with Agile teams.
• Knowledge of financial services or banking.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legal compliance, industry standards, and practices.
• Project Management Professional, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Fundamentals, or Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge certification.
