Release Train Engineer (Agile)

TL;DR

Release Train Engineer (Agile): Facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution to ensure value delivery with an accent on Lean-Agile scaling and servant leadership. Focus on managing risks, facilitating PI Planning, and coaching teams and leaders to optimize the flow of value.

Location: Hybrid (Irving, TX, US) — 2 days a week in the office

What you will do

• Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution while managing risks and escalating impediments.
• Guide and coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
• Manage the flow of value using Program and Solution Kanbans and other information radiators.
• Lead PI Planning readiness, including the synthesis of Vision, Roadmap, and Backlogs.
• Establish annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments.
• Align strategy and execution between Product Management, Product Owners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Irving, TX (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office).
• 5-7 years of experience in Scrum and/or Agile Release Trains.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and visual platforms like Miro or IdeaBoardz.
• SAFe 5.0 Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/military experience preferred.

Nice to have

• SAFe 5.0 SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
