Sr. Manufacturing Operations Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS - Airport E); the role is primarily based on site, with 80%–90% desk-based work in an inside environment.

Manufactures packaged modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications through five ISO 9001-certified facilities in Houston.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of large, complex, and high-risk manufacturing projects and programs.
• Define labor, capacity, sequencing, risk mitigation, and operational plans across fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipment.
• Own project and program-level financial and schedule performance, including forecasting, performance analysis, and recovery strategies.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics, and Planning.
• Resolve operational issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, risk registers, and lessons learned.
• Improve and standardize OPM tools, dashboards, reporting cadence, planning methods, and execution practices.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, or project execution in a heavy or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex, or high-risk projects and owning financial and schedule performance across multiple projects.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing execution, project controls, operations finance, Earned Value Management, forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Advanced ERP/MRP proficiency, with strong blueprint and P&ID interpretation skills.
• Experience with fabrication, welding, and assembly processes, plus experience mentoring or leading project and operations professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or qualifying military leadership or technical work experience in lieu of the degree.

Nice to have

• Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement training.
• Prior experience in modular manufacturing.
