Senior Capital Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. Temporarily based in Northeast San Antonio, with a permanent location at Brooks, San Antonio. 100% in-office; remote work is not offered. The role includes frequent site visits and extensive travel to project sites in and outside the United States.

What you will do

• Manage capital projects across programming, planning, design, procurement, construction, integration, commissioning, and closeout.
• Control project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, contracts, payments, and documentation.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, company specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Resolve delays, resource conflicts, budget variances, emergencies, and technical issues while minimizing project impact.
• Support capital portfolio governance, strategic roadmaps, budgeting, metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects from conception through completion.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent capital projects, including tenant improvements and ground-up construction ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Industrial or manufacturing operations experience, including production continuity, utility capacity, equipment installation, and phased construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, safety regulations, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel to project sites on short notice; the role requires work in office and active construction environments.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as PE, PMP, CCM, or LEED AP.
• Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.
• Experience with capital programs, portfolio management, strategic budget planning, and capital governance systems.
