Senior / Lead Facilities Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Sidney, Ohio, USA; fully onsite with no hybrid or remote option. Domestic and international travel of up to 25% may be required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Lead complex capital projects from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, capital authorization requests, business cases, and execution plans.
• Manage architects, engineers, construction managers, contractors, equipment suppliers, and consultants.
• Deliver facility expansions, manufacturing line installations, infrastructure improvements, utility upgrades, and strategic capacity projects.
• Lead projects involving electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, natural gas, water, fire protection, structural systems, and building automation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, operations, maintenance, EHS, procurement, finance, IT, executive leadership, and external partners while minimizing operational disruption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience managing industrial facilities capital projects in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience leading multiple complex projects, managing project budgets and forecasts, and coordinating architects, engineering firms, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of industrial building systems, process utilities, project risk management, construction safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer, PMP, Certified Facility Manager, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
• Experience with facility master planning, site selection, global manufacturing organizations, BMS/BAS, industrial controls, ISO 14001, or ISO 50001.
• Experience with sustainability, energy management, greenhouse-gas reduction projects, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
• For the Lead level: experience mentoring project managers, establishing engineering standards, and presenting project strategy and funding to executive leadership.
