Location: Gonzales, Louisiana or Pasadena, Texas; work includes onsite presence at hirify.global operating facilities and travel across the Southeast United States

What you will do

• Lead the regional Project Engineering team, including Project Engineers and Construction Managers.
• Manage project processes from initiation through closeout and coordinate with operating facilities, maintenance, business stakeholders, and project engineering personnel.
• Develop and execute regional capital plans, forecasts, project estimates, funding requests, and status reviews.
• Plan staffing for capital projects and large plant turnarounds, including contractor and contingent-worker strategies.
• Oversee project safety, process safety, operability and hazard reviews, contractor development, bid evaluations, and compliance with company standards.
• Mentor Project Engineers and lead regional safety, project-status, and gatekeeping meetings.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, or capital projects.
• Strong project management experience covering development, planning, estimating, forecasting, execution, and turnover.
• Plant outage experience and willingness to work varied scheduled hours, including occasional weekends during project or outage execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, planning, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent SAP skills, particularly within Project System roles, and ability to maintain project-management software and databases.
• Ability to walk around plants, supervise contractors, and climb stairs and ladders.

Nice to have

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
