Location: Onsite at 3440 S Bryant Blvd, San Angelo, Texas, United States

Salary: $26.00–$51.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Install HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components according to technical plans and regulatory standards.
• Configure and calibrate building automation and direct digital control systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues affecting HVAC and facility systems.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders, while coordinating service calls with facility operators and management.
• Operate company vehicles safely and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical HVAC certification and two years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related work for commercial HVAC and building controls, or qualifying experience under the listed alternatives.
• Experience with HVAC systems, ductwork, control components, technical schematics, layout plans, and maintenance documentation.
• Mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting skills, plus knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for handling and servicing refrigerants.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, ability to pass a motor vehicle report, and a compliant commercial driving record.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, safety protocols, digital work-order tools, scheduling, and inventory tracking.

Nice to have

• Completion of a two-year vocational or technical HVAC program.
• Experience with office productivity software, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
