Head of Vision (Video Telematics)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of the video telematics product portfolio from development and launch through post-release optimization and support.
• Lead hardware development for camera systems, including design, validation, testing, production readiness, and supplier coordination.
• Oversee device management platforms, configuration management, remote deployments, and firmware planning, testing, release, and maintenance.
• Establish configuration, change control, rollback, documentation, and release governance processes.
• Coordinate product, software engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure smooth delivery and in-life support.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing technical teams while setting goals, priorities, and development plans.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in video telematics, IoT, or connected device ecosystems.
• Proven experience developing camera or imaging hardware and leading hardware development or support teams.
• Strong knowledge of device management platforms, firmware lifecycles, remote device operations, and configuration management.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, video processing technologies, and connectivity protocols.
• Experience managing releases across hardware, firmware, and configuration environments, including change logs, release documentation, and audit trails.
• Strong people management, communication, stakeholder alignment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including communication with senior leadership.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in video telematics and leading hardware development teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for connected devices.
• Experience scaling products across global markets.
