Production Software Engineer (C++/Python)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain core C++ and Python components connecting self-driving models with vehicle and embedded systems.
• Develop infrastructure to communicate with, run, and test autonomous driving capabilities separately from ML model development.
• Own the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems in Linux-based environments.
• Build tooling and diagnostics for testing and validation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across London, Israel, and the US to integrate changes, resolve cross-team issues, and support releases.
• Specialise in localisation, navigation, mapping, filtering, diagnostics, control, or inference.

Requirements

• Exceptional C++ proficiency and experience writing performance-sensitive, production-quality code.
• Strong Python skills for tooling, integration, or test infrastructure.
• Solid Linux development, debugging, and operational experience.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and software interfaces to hardware or vehicle systems.
• Automotive experience is advantageous but not required.

Hiring process

• 30-minute initial recruiter call.
• Programming and hiring manager interviews lasting 1.5 hours in total, followed by three hours of systems and domain-specific technical interviews.
• 45-minute final mission and values interview.
