Factory Logistics Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage Central Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving departments, and associated staff.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, including transportation requirements, carrier relationships, freight costs, and delivery performance.
• Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, material flow, and delivery processes to manufacturing.
• Standardize shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures while improving safety, efficiency, and ergonomics.
• Develop KPIs, visual management systems, and monthly and quarterly tracking for shipping spend, fuel, surcharges, and department goals.
• Hire, train, evaluate, mentor, and coach employees while collaborating with cross-functional teams on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost objectives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, and warehouse management.
• Bachelor's degree in operations, engineering, business management, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, with a strong safety focus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and required experience with JDE ERP and WMS.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, analytical and problem-solving skills, customer focus, and effective decision-making.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, multitasking, and follow-through abilities.

Salary: $96,555–$128,577 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly incentive pay.
