Offset Printing Press Operator - Sign on Bonus: $2,000

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

Salary: $26.00–$43.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour second-shift differential, a $3.00 per hour third-shift differential, overtime as required, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or multi-color offset presses.
• Print single-, two-, and multi-color work involving solids, screen tints, line work, and halftones.
• Review job specifications and determine press setup based on the imposition of each run.
• Complete make-ready tasks, including installing plates or cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and registration.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet required quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on press equipment.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of printing techniques, materials, equipment, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Experience performing complex setup, major adjustments, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
• Ability to read job specifications and select appropriate press settings, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to use a micrometer to mount and correctly align printing plates.
• Ability to work the assigned second or third shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
