What you will do

  • Conduct structural analyses, design reviews, and engineering calculations.
  • Resolve technical issues and prepare technical documentation.
  • Author DOE structural engineering evaluations.
  • Support construction oversight, operations oversight, commissioning, deactivation, and decommissioning.
  • Support environmental remediation and the stabilization and disposition of waste and nuclear materials.
  • Perform occasional field verifications and coordinate approved project travel.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering.
  • 5–10+ years of engineering and structural design experience.
  • Experience in the DOE or nuclear sector is preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis, design review, and technical writing.
  • Problem-solving, rigor, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site in Richland, Washington; facility clearance and, when required, DOE clearance may be necessary.

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Experience supporting DOE clients, construction operations, or nuclear cleanup programs.
