Managing Director, Real Estate Valuation Advisory

Salary: $299,930–$393,680 per year

What you will do

• Lead real estate valuation and advisory engagements, including overall engagement management.
• Develop property and entity valuations using discounted cash flow analysis in ARGUS and Microsoft Excel, direct capitalization, sales comparison, cost, and highest-and-best-use approaches.
• Manage day-to-day activities of staff and communicate with clients to build and maintain relationships.
• Drive business development through internal and external channels and assist with pursuing key clients and targets.
• Support marketing and published collateral, including the quarterly real estate update.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in real estate valuation or consulting, including valuations for financial reporting purposes such as ASC 805 and ASC 820.
• Certified General real estate appraiser license.
• MAI designation in progress.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to identify financial issues through financial statement review.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, with the ability to adapt to new technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
