Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Platform)

Location: Katowice, Poland. Onsite role; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Develop complex cloud applications for the Altium 365 Platform.
• Build cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Design large-scale data processing solutions, data models, and intent-based APIs.
• Work with stateful and stateless servers, relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Use AI and ML to support advanced search capabilities.
• Influence technical direction, architectural decisions, engineering standards, and platform governance across multiple teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of .NET experience.
• Deep expertise in areas such as identity and authentication, access or license management, message queues, distributed caches, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, relational database optimization, platform frameworks, or multi-tenancy.
• Experience building and operating distributed, high-load systems, including performance profiling, optimization, load testing, and stress testing.
• Strong ability to solve complex technical challenges involving engineering software and cloud services.
• Ability to drive architectural decisions and technical direction across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebird, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, or AliCloud.
