What you will do

• Design, architect, and implement robust, scalable backend and cloud systems end-to-end.
• Lead architectural decisions, author RFCs, and shape the long-term evolution of the platform.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven components with a focus on performance and security.
• Mentor and sponsor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing and design sessions.
• Identify risks and opportunities proactively to prevent incidents and blocked projects.
• Own on-call responsibilities and maintain production health as a first-class concern.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development.
• Deep expertise in Java/Spring and modern ecosystem tooling.
• Strong command of AWS services including Kafka, SQS/SNS, ElastiCache, and Lambda.
• Experience designing and operating distributed, high-availability systems.
• Solid fundamentals in relational and non-relational database design and query optimization.
• Clear, confident communication in English is required for technical leadership and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in the EV, mobility, or IoT domain, specifically charge session protocols like OCPP.
• AWS Professional or Specialty certification.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or ReactJS.
• Prior involvement in building or scaling an engineering team.
