Workshop / Field Technician (Electrical Service Technician)

What you will do

• Identify faults, repair, test, and modify actuators in the workshop.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
• Perform mechanical and electrical actuator installations.
• Install retrofit components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
• Prepare accurate technical reports for each job.
• Provide prompt and effective service to customers across water, power, petrochemical, and related industries.

Requirements

• Qualified electrician with a QLD Electrician License.
• Experience in a practical engineering environment.
• Understanding of basic electronics, electrical theory, and fluid power theory.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and use common test and calibration tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Full valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Nice to have

• Technical experience or knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems.
