Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Cloud & Identity

Location: Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont; onsite four days per week, Monday through Thursday

Salary: $112,500–$165,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Engineer, configure, administer, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
• Administer and enhance identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including privileged access, authentication, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Implement endpoint and device security controls through Microsoft Intune and maintain security capabilities within Microsoft 365.
• Analyze complex cloud and identity security issues, identify root causes, and implement remediation solutions.
• Lead assigned technical areas and cross-functional initiatives while providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, application teams, Audit, and other stakeholders on requirements, compliance, documentation, and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, an advanced degree with 5+ years, or 12+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience securing Microsoft Azure environments and implementing enterprise cloud security controls.
• Hands-on experience administering and securing Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Experience configuring Microsoft Entra Conditional Access policies and multi-factor authentication.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security controls.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; the role requires onsite office attendance four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAM technologies, processes, and controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, privileged access management, audits, compliance, or security-control assessments.
• CISSP, CCSP, or an equivalent security certification.
• Experience developing technical security standards, procedures, and documentation.
