Security Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365/Azure)

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments for remote work and application delivery.
• Manage endpoints through Microsoft Intune and RMM tools, including enrollment, patching, and compliance enforcement.
• Embed security principles across firewalls, VPNs, cloud environments, and other systems.
• Manage IAM, MFA, and privileged access controls while monitoring threats and supporting incident response.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation, maintain compliance controls, and provide tier-3 technical escalation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and security engineering, preferably in an MSP or enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and network security.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, or SOC 2 frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect technical requirements with business needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
• AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300, or Security+ certification.
