Senior IAM Engineer

Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week at a Guardian location in Holmdel, New Jersey or Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $99,150–$162,885 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design and implement identity governance, access management, and privileged access management solutions.
• Develop IAM policies, procedures, and standards aligned with regulatory requirements and industry practices.
• Integrate IAM platforms with existing systems and applications in collaboration with IT and security teams.
• Conduct IAM audits and assessments, identify security risks, and implement mitigations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM issues.
• Track IAM technologies, recommend improvements, and mentor junior IAM engineers.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in IAM engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Okta, PingFederate, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Microsoft Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with Okta Access Gateway, Microsoft App Proxy, cloud IAM integrations, scripting, and automation.
• Knowledge of IAM security controls and regulatory standards including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or a similar certification.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and AWS.
