Staff EDI Developer (Microsoft BizTalk)

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $105,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, configure, test, document, and support EDI and API applications based on business requirements.
• Implement ANSI X12 transactions, partner-specific mappings, companion guides, and EDI onboarding processes.
• Develop APIs and ETL/data synchronization processes connecting EDI databases, ERP systems, and external partners.
• Create SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, data transformation logic, and reporting solutions.
• Coordinate integration testing and troubleshoot BizTalk processes, APIs, data transfers, and database synchronization.
• Monitor automated EDI transmissions, report performance and issues, and improve application reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of programming and application software development experience, including at least 3 years as an EDI developer.
• Strong SQL development skills with stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, query optimization, and data validation.
• Hands-on Microsoft BizTalk Server experience covering development, troubleshooting, deployment, and support.
• Experience with relational databases, MS SQL, data access layers, SDLC, agile development, supply chain, and ERP systems.
• Experience with ANSI X12, XML, XSLT, JSON, SSIS or Azure Data Factory, VAN, SFTP, AS2, Visual Studio, GitHub or GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based EDI solutions and integration platforms.
• Familiarity with Epicor EDI solutions and related data synchronization processes.
