IT Solutions: EDI Developer - Boomi

Location: Remote US; fully remote

What you will do

• Support daily EDI operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues.
• Migrate existing EDI integrations from managed service providers to the Boomi platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain EDI and application-to-application integrations using pre-built or custom Boomi connectors.
• Collaborate with business, IT teams, trading partners, and external partners to analyze requirements and validate transactions.
• Create process documentation and integration maps for EDI transactions.
• Monitor performance, conduct root-cause analysis, and participate in code reviews, quality checks, and deployments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development, integration, and support.
• 5+ years of experience with the Boomi platform, including Integration, API Management, or EDI AtomSphere.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards and transaction sets, including X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON.
• Experience integrating ERP systems and mapping and transforming EDI data between trading partners and internal applications.
• Experience with Boomi monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks.
• Understanding of supply-chain processes such as order management, fulfillment, and invoicing, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Boomi Professional Developer or Integration Developer certification.
• Experience migrating managed EDI services.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, scripting, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with D365.
