Senior Software Developer (Microsoft Stack)

Location: On-site in Goleta, California, United States. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Own software projects across functions and teams, taking responsibility for challenging development initiatives.
• Develop, test, maintain, design, and implement complex enterprise applications.
• Lead adoption of new tools, methodologies, systems, and modern software development technologies.
• Provide technical guidance, unblock colleagues, mentor junior developers, and potentially lead or supervise staff.
• Translate technical requirements into application interfaces and communicate complex software concepts to operational teams.
• Perform code reviews, maintain documentation, and follow standard software development life cycle processes.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; three additional years of directly relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented software and applicable development platforms such as Microsoft Stack or AWS.
• Knowledge of application and user-interface development using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML, C#, VBA, or VB.NET, and/or databases such as SQL.
• Creative problem-solving ability, strong communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
