Manufacturing Associate (Architectural Glass)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, United States; full-time onsite schedule, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

What you will do

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and work orders.
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing materials, including metal and insulated glass components.
• Use manual and power hand tools and operate CNC equipment by translating fabrication instructions into computer commands.
• Load and unload materials using hand methods, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Inspect, package, and stage completed products for shipment while assisting with inventory management.
• Follow production schedules, meet daily productivity goals, maintain a clean work area through 5S practices, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or related experience.
• Experience in the curtain wall or architectural glass industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 30–60 pounds and occasionally walk, bend, twist, squat, and climb.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNC equipment.
• Experience using forklifts or overhead cranes.
