Nursing Faculty - Sacramento

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Teach nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation environments.
• Develop curriculum and implement approved course content and teaching materials.
• Mentor students, create an inclusive learning environment, and provide timely feedback and remediation.
• Lead or support clinical, lab, and simulation experiences while promoting safe, ethical nursing practice.
• Support new faculty through guidance and mentoring, and participate in committees, graduation, and program evaluation.
• Conduct and share scholarship related to teaching and nursing practice while maintaining professional expertise.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of professional experience related to the teaching discipline.
• Active, unencumbered professional licensure or certification, as applicable to the assignment.
• Education and experience must meet applicable state, regulatory, and licensure requirements.
• Ability to teach assigned courses effectively and maintain required clinical and regulatory credentials.
• At least one public, peer-reviewable, accessible scholarship example in an approved scholarship area.

Nice to have

• Doctorate degree in nursing.
• Experience with learning management systems, simulation equipment, and online teaching platforms.
• Experience collaborating with faculty, service teams, and clinical partners.
