Senior Buyer

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States — hybrid; domestic and international supplier travel may be required.

Salary: $98,703.12–$148,054.68 base salary per year, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits for regular employees working 20+ hours per week.

What you will do

• Review purchase requisitions, generate RFQs, and execute purchase orders for assigned suppliers.
• Manage purchase order delivery schedules and maintain accurate procurement and supplier data in ERP and supply chain systems.
• Monitor supplier cost, delivery, quality, and performance while managing purchase price variance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements and deliver cost reductions through alternative sourcing, volume discounts, tariff mitigation, and total cost analysis.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, alternative sourcing options, and make-versus-buy opportunities.
• Partner with Quality and management to resolve supplier issues, develop commodity strategies, analyze market trends, and mitigate capacity and delivery risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of individual-contributor experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and supporting manufacturing environments.
• Experience with global sourcing and commodity expertise is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States.
