(USA) Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management - Freight Forwarding Expansion

Location: Onsite at Walmart’s Bentonville, Arkansas home office, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Build the strategy and roadmap for global freight forwarding expansion.
• Launch freight forwarding operations in new markets and deliver them on schedule.
• Operationalize Walmart entities for freight forwarding services offered to marketplace sellers.
• Prioritize operational capabilities that support compliant, safe, and reliable services.
• Lead cross-functional expansion programs supporting sales and assortment growth.
• Partner with human resources, operations, product, engineering, legal, tax, accounting, and controllership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Background in ocean freight, freight forwarding, supply chain, and cross-border logistics process design.
• Experience managing freight forwarding agent networks or wholly owned branches.
• Experience delivering tax, accounting, compliance, and legal requirements for logistics operations.
• Experience executing cross-functional projects without direct authority over participating teams.
• At least 2 years of experience using advanced Microsoft Office functionality.

Nice to have

• Experience in dispatch, fleet management, network analysis, or retail logistics operations.
• Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Project Management Professional or Six Sigma certification.
