Manager, Process Engineering (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop process engineers and technicians supporting fab processes, probe assembly, SMT operations, and new product introduction.
• Direct process development, optimization, qualification, and sustaining activities for vertically integrated probe card manufacturing.
• Oversee thin-film deposition, lithography, etch, metallization, planarization, cleaning, metrology, probe stitching, laser cutting, alignment, and mechanical integration.
• Manage SMT assembly and vertical probe card flows involving substrates, MEMS structures, interposers, connectors, and mechanical fixtures.
• Monitor yield, Cp/Cpk, cycle time, OEE, and defectivity while leading corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Equipment Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and senior engineering leadership on manufacturability, qualification, compliance, and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD may qualify with the stated experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, or 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, probe card manufacturing, advanced packaging, MEMS, or another high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of process engineering, statistical analysis, SPC, DOE, FMEA, control plans, and structured problem solving.
• Strong technical judgment, communication, organization, hands-on manufacturing problem solving, and people leadership skills.
• Must work onsite in Farmers Branch, Texas, on the regular day shift.

Nice to have

• Experience with SMT, precision alignment, metrology, equipment qualification, reliability testing, factory automation, or MES systems.
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with probe card technologies, micro-assembly, wafer fabrication, or advanced packaging.
