Project Manager I - Eurofins Environment Testing- Knoxville, TN (Environmental Testing)

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, USA; candidates must be within a commutable distance. Full-time Monday–Friday dayshift schedule with overtime as needed.

Salary: starting at $62,000 per year.

What you will do

• Set up and maintain client projects in the laboratory information management system, including documentation, orders, contracts, and project details.
• Coordinate laboratory operations, project kickoffs, capacity planning, bottle orders, couriers, field samplers, and work-share facilities.
• Manage sample receipt, login discrepancies, job due dates, client notifications, final reports, data uploads, and state reporting forms.
• Review invoices, prepare credit and debit memos, submit revised invoices, and coordinate with collections on accounts receivable.
• Maintain client accounts, provide technical support, manage complaints and corrective actions, and forward leads to sales.
• Prepare quotes and proposals by coordinating with Operations, Quality Assurance, and subcontract laboratories.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Sciences, or a related field; four years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least six months of client-relationship or customer-service experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, environmental regulations, quality assurance, contract compliance, laboratory methods, and basic LIMS use.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, leadership, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Computer proficiency with Outlook, Office, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship, plus professional working proficiency in English.

• Bench chemist or field experience.
• Experience with environmental testing and laboratory methods.
