Assistant Technical Project Manager (Chemistry)

Salary: $79,000–$99,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Support the Senior Technical Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, from intake and system setup through launch and release.
• Assist with routine quality control activities and cross-functional reviews for chemistry-related studies, analyses, and initiatives.
• Monitor task completion rates in laboratory management software.
• Manage laboratory sample inventory, documentation records, and data integrity.
• Coordinate work across concurrent projects while meeting laboratory protocols, safety standards, and project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in science, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or health-related fields.
• Ability to understand and implement SOPs and work instructions and review laboratory documentation against SOP requirements.
• Understanding of FDA guidelines and regulations and the ISO 17025 standard.
• Strong proofreading, documentation, editing, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, independence, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
