Value Stream Manager (Metal)

Location: 03246 93 Lexington Drive, Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Full-time, onsite position.

STS Aerospace operates industrial aerospace manufacturing activities in Laconia, New Hampshire.

What you will do

• Plan production operations, priorities, sequences, and departmental schedules based on production orders and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet product specifications, quality objectives, cost targets, and schedules.
• Review production and operating reports, resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues, and prevent operational delays.
• Inspect machines and equipment to support operational performance and efficient utilization.
• Develop and maintain standard operating and working practices, and monitor compliance.
• Manage production cells, furnace vacuum, inspection, chemical clean, NDT, and X-ray operations through subordinate supervisors and direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience coordinating production operations and manufacturing activities.
• Ability to review and compile production data, reports, and schedules.
• Ability to supervise, train, evaluate, and coordinate production employees and subordinate supervisors.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
