Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, full-time, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Salary: $26–$32 per hour, with additional pay potentially available based on experience.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical lines, circuits, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical and electronic components in machinery, conveyors, bindery equipment, and other production systems.
• Install power supply wiring, conduit, cables, and programmable controller connections according to electrical code.
• Diagnose and replace faulty AC/DC motors, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, diagrams, and manufacturer specifications while using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Perform work safely in accordance with OSHA and lockout/tagout standards.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of electrical circuitry, controls, machinery installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to design circuit layouts, wire test setups, install test instrumentation, and verify electrical test conditions.
• Ability to diagnose complex safety interlocks and respond quickly to warning signs and malfunctions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Applicable licenses or certifications required to perform the work.
