Production Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Odessa, Texas, United States. Full-time, onsite position.

What you will do

• Own facility schedules and coordinate production planning, labor needs, weekly meetings, and information flow to supervisors.
• Coordinate projects with VDC, production, engineering, sales, customer care, buyers/planners, branches, and material coordinators.
• Schedule projects in Mendix, verify drawing specifications, track project issues, and manage kickoff and closeout activities.
• Monitor Mendix, BPCS, QlikView, and Qlik Sense data, including runtime information, BOM checks, orders, and master data.
• Manage fabrication correspondence, truck scheduling, purchase orders, bills of lading, and fabrication labels.
• Release orders for picking and maintain pipe, consumable, and catalog inventory, including adjustments, audits, allocations, and transfers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes and Microsoft Windows software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and remain detail-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Understanding of shop math, including fraction-to-decimal conversion, and ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vernier scales.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without present or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

• Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
