What you will do

• Lead capital projects from concept development through commissioning as the single point of accountability for delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, cost estimates, schedules, risks, and resource plans.
• Manage performance against safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, site leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering design, contractor performance, and EPC activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, project controls, and constructability best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of cost forecasting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of process safety management, management of change, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with front-end loading and stage-gate project development.
• Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction contractors.
• Familiarity with SAP Project Systems or similar project management tools.
• Experience developing and communicating project business cases, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
