Press Operator 2 - Flexographic Press (Flexographic Printing)

Location: Oakdale, Minnesota, USA. Full-time onsite role on a 12-hour rotating night shift from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Salary: $28.00–$42.00 per hour, plus a $3/hour night-shift differential. Directly experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher pay rate.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain flexographic press equipment.
• Complete make-ready work, including mounting plates, installing print cylinders, inspecting image positioning, and preparing web paths.
• Adjust web tension, register, color, anilox settings, and other press parameters to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses, including minor repairs and replacement of worn or broken parts.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of flexographic printing procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and select appropriate press settings, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to create precise web paths and perform operational equipment adjustments.
• Experience with routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Basic computer skills in Excel, Word, and Google tools are preferred.
• Experience with Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, Webtron, Gallus, or Nil Peter presses is preferred.
