Environmental Specialist III (Environmental Compliance)

Location: Hybrid on/off client site across the United States, including Washington, DC; Clarksburg, WV; Quantico, VA; and nationwide field offices.

What you will do

• Lead environmental programs and provide senior-level compliance oversight for federal clients.
• Support occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, and sustainability programs.
• Manage environmental reporting and provide data-driven guidance to client stakeholders.
• Coordinate enterprise initiatives across facilities, contractors, employees, and visitors.
• Support hazardous-material handling, storage, disposal, spill remediation, and workplace compliance activities.
• Develop and manage dashboards, data-entry processes, and analytical deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of energy and water efficiency strategies, LEED, environmental compliance, and federal reporting.
• Top Secret security clearance is required before starting onsite work and must be maintained throughout the contract.
• Ability to perform technical work with minimal supervision and communicate professionally in sensitive situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Lists, and Power BI, plus strong technical writing, proofreading, data-management, and analytical skills.
