Civil QC Engineer

Location: Cairo, Egypt; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Review specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities to define quality standards for civil works.
• Prepare quality documents, including Inspection and Test Plans, and monitor compliance throughout design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Oversee inspections and testing, supervise QC Inspectors, and coordinate with third-party testing entities.
• Ensure the correct implementation of Method Statements, equipment calibration, test records, and project quality documentation.
• Analyze test results, raise non-conformity reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support audits, client inspections, punch-list closure, and final project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 8 years of experience as a QC Engineer.
• Experience with site geotechnical works, including piles and diaphragm walls, as well as site civil works.
• Good knowledge of standards for civil and geotechnical works.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems based on ISO 9001 standards.
• Fluent English writing and speaking skills.
