Food Quality Auditor (Food Safety Auditing): Conducting first-, second-, and third-party audits against food safety standards and certification schemes with an accent on FSMS evaluation, audit reporting, corrective action verification, and certification compliance. Focus on maintaining auditor competency, applying FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, and HACCP requirements, and traveling frequently within Egypt.
Location: Etisalat Club Rd, Ezbet Fahmy, El Basatin, Cairo Governorate, Egypt. Full-time role with frequent travel within Egypt.

What you will do
- Conduct first-, second-, and third-party audits against applicable food safety standards and certification schemes.
- Evaluate clients’ Food Safety Management Systems and provide technical input on food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare audit plans, checklists, reports, and nonconformity findings.
- Verify corrective actions and follow up on audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and certification body requirements while maintaining impartiality, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
- Support witness audits, internal audits, auditor calibration, and ongoing competency activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in the food industry, food safety, quality assurance, or auditing.
- Practical knowledge of food manufacturing, processing, packaging, storage, or distribution operations.
- FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor certification and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification from IRCA/CQI or an equivalent recognized body.
- HACCP certification with practical implementation experience.
- Ability to travel relatively frequently within Egypt.
Nice to have
- Experience with certification bodies.
- ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
- ISO/IEC 17065 or ISO/IEC 17021-1 awareness or implementation experience.
- BRCGS Food Safety Auditor qualification, ISO 19011 training, Food Fraud and Food Defense training, or GMP certification.
- PCQI certification for FSMA.
