Complex Adult Health Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach clinical nursing content focused on complex adult health, acute and chronic care, health promotion, and management of health alterations.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise students delivering nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback and remediation.
• Develop clinical assignments and assess homework, quizzes, tests, laboratory work, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical agency policies and coordinate with agency staff, course coordinators, administrators, and faculty.
• Support curriculum development, assessment activities, campus retention efforts, and student satisfaction.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional RN license in Michigan.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of registered nursing experience in the instructional specialty within the last five years.
