Senior Auto & General Liability Claims Adjuster

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid onsite three days per week. Requires daily travel between locations and up to 10% overnight travel.

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze medium-complexity commercial auto and general liability claims, including litigated files.
• Identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages, and review relevant documents and legal pleadings.
• Develop action plans, negotiate with involved parties, and settle claims according to established guidelines.
• Establish and maintain accurate claim reserves while monitoring financial exposure and external resource costs.
• Address contractual indemnification and additional insured coverage issues with internal partners.
• Collaborate with counsel, agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims and communicate coverage decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience handling general liability and/or bodily injury claims of medium complexity or severity.
• Ability to obtain required state licenses.
• Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners and customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to travel daily between locations.

Nice to have

• AIC or SLA certification.
• Experience handling risk transfer, subcontractor, and general contractor claims.
