Senior Industrial Engineer

Salary: $92,300–$138,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and optimization of facility layouts, production systems, material flow paths, and capacity strategies.
• Own enterprise-level capacity planning models and labor standards programs, providing insights to Operations leadership.
• Identify and lead high-impact continuous improvement initiatives using advanced Lean-Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and standardize manufacturing SOPs, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Lead capital investment analyses, business cases, and ROI justifications for equipment, tooling, and facility improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Product Engineering while mentoring junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• BS in Industrial Engineering or a STEM-related discipline; an MS is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with AutoCAD or similar layout and simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence without direct authority, and present to senior leadership.
• Ability to interpret engineering diagrams, process flow charts, facility layouts, and financial models while managing multiple complex projects.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification at Black Belt level or higher.
• Experience with simulation or digital twin tools.
• MS degree in Industrial Engineering or a STEM-related discipline.
